MSMEs in India contribute about 8 percent to the country's GDP, 45 percent to manufacturing output and more than 40% to exports. According to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act 2006, the Government of India has launched MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). These businesses specialize in the creation, manufacturing, processing or preservation of goods and objects. MSMEs are an important part of the Indian economy, and in many states have contributed significantly to the socio-economic growth of the country. It not only creates job opportunities but it also participates in the development of backward and rural areas of the country. According to information from the government's annual report 2018-19, India is home to approximately 6,08,41,245 MSMEs. However, the total number of MSME industries has also increased in the last four years.
