Important Days

World Children's Day is celebrated every year on 20 November and is dedicated to the little children who make our lives beautiful. Childhood is the most favorite chapter of any person's life. Every day is a new adventure and full of joy, novelty and infinite possibilities. Children have infinite possibilities within them and parents and guardians should shape them carefully with lots of love, creativity and responsibility. However, children's lives are far from ideal and their rights are under attack in many parts of the world. This day is to raise awareness about the rights of children and improve their welfare. World Children's Day is celebrated every year on 20 November to commemorate the Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly on this day in 1959. It was first established as Universal Children's Day in 1954. Since 1990, World Children's Day has been celebrated. It also marks the anniversary of the date when the United Nations General Assembly adopted both the Declaration and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The theme of World Children's Day this year is Every Child, Every Right .
