The subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) named NSE Foundation in partnership with NITI Aayog and UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) launched ‘Project CAVACH’. The ‘Project CAVACH’ is a programme launched to create awareness on COVID-19 vaccination in India. The ‘Project CAVACH’ signifies ‘COVID-19 and Vaccination Assistance Campaign for Health’. It will be executed in 5 Aspiration districts of India. The 5 aspirational districts are Nandurbar and Osmanabad in Maharashtra, Karauli in Rajasthan, Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu and Kiphire in Nagaland. The project will be executed by getting together more than 30 community-based organisations on a single platform. These community-based organisations will work to address issues of vaccine hesitancy and resistance and will thus increase the number of people getting vaccinated. The project will observe the participation of community network, youth volunteers, gram panchayats, SHG members to execute the project, create awareness and promote the importance of COVID-19 vaccines.
