Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Seychelles Election Commission Chairman Danny Lucas on 'electoral cooperation' in the Seychelles capital on Tuesday. MoU was signed to promote exchange of best practices in election management and training. "ECI has expanded electoral cooperation. The MoU will strengthen the exchange of best practices in election management and training of officials. India-Seychelles relations are characterized by close friendship, understanding and cooperation. Several bilateral agreements/MoUs have been signed during have already been signed over the past few decades to further facilitate cooperation.
