Important Days
National Integration Day is celebrated every year on 19 November all over India. It is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Indira Gandhi, the first woman Prime Minister of India. Office members from various departments of the district administration gather at one place to take a pledge to ensure general harmony in the society. Officially, floral tributes are placed at the statue of the late Prime Minister on every National Integration Day. It is celebrated all over India to increase love and unity among the people. Just as the people living in India are not free even after the country became independent, they are still slaves in some way or the other. Some politically motivated youth of the country are continuously disrupting the unity and communal harmony of the people in the society. National Unity Day is celebrated every year to encourage people about unity, peace, love and brotherhood.
