Important Days

Celebrated on the second Thursday of November every year, World Usability Day aims to make technology more inclusive for all by educating people about the importance of usability. This year's theme is "Collaboration and Collaboration", which focuses on working together to create solutions that make technology more useful for everyone. World Usability Day was established in 2005 by the Association of User Experience Professionals. Some of the basic principles of usability and user experience design can be traced back to the ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui. Feng Shui is about arranging buildings, objects and space to create a space that is not only beautiful, but also balanced, harmonious and user-friendly – which is the foundation of user experience design. Similarly, collaboration between designers, developers, accessibility experts, and individuals with disabilities helps implement best practices and standards to create inclusive web experiences.
