Odisha Government signs MoU with ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India to set up Kho-Kho High Performance Center in Odisha

Taking an important step towards promoting Kho-Kho talent in the state, in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha signed an MoU with ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS India) to set up a high-level Did it. Contribute to the support of Odisha infrastructure, while AMNS India is committed to providing experienced and dedicated coaches to raise the level of Kho Kho in the state. The signing of the MoU highlights the commitment of both sides to promote sporting excellence. A cluster of HPCs has been set up by Odisha at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the Kho Kho High Performance Center will be an important addition to the ecosystem. It is a unique partnership model between a state and a corporate that has proven in producing elite athletes in hockey, football, swimming, athletics, gymnastics, sports science, shooting, weightlifting and now the indigenous game Kho Kho will take glory. It has also partnered with corporates and established a gymnastics high performance centre.
