Union Minister Amit Shah launches Bharat Organics brand of National Cooperative Organics Limited

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched the 'Bharat Organics' brand of newly formed National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL) and said it will not only be the country's "largest enterprise" in the next 5 years, but will also emerge in the world. Over the years it has been becoming the “most trusted and largest brand” in the world organic products market. Ensuring availability of certified organic products in the market, Shah said that by next year there will be 439 laboratories across the country, which will help farmers get their products certified. NCOL has been set up as a national level multi-state cooperative to promote organic products. It aims to increase returns on produce by providing direct market access to organic farmers and producer organizations.
