The book 'Mapping of the Archives in India' was released in the auditorium of Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA), Kalanidhi Division. Descriptive e-Catalog of 'Aagam-Tantra-Mantra-Yantra, Volume-3, Part-1-5' was also launched on this occasion. The book is written by Professor Ramesh Chandra Gaur and Vismay Basu and published by IGNCA and UNESCO. The book release session was presided over by Shri Ram Bahadur Rai, President, IGNCA Trust. The guests of honor of the event were Mr. Satyanand Mishra, Chief Information Commissioner of India and Mr. Hezekiel Dlamini, Communication and Information Advisor for South Asia, UNESCO, New Delhi Office. The featured speakers of the program were Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, IGNCA, Professor Dr. Ramesh Chandra Gaur, Director (L&I) and Kalaanidhi Division, IGNCA and Dr. Sanjay Garg, Deputy Director, National Archives of India. After literature survey, records were found in 600 institutions of the country. The book contains 424 directories of the archives of India. The book contains a complete profile of the records present in the book.
