Union Minister Piyush Goyal participated in the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) ministerial meetings in the US.

Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal went on a four-day visit to San Francisco, USA to attend various official activities of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). He also interacted with eminent business persons, leading academicians, US officials and industry leaders during the visit to further strengthen the economic and commercial relations partnership between the two countries. Commerce and Industry Minister participated in the 3rd in-person IPEF Ministerial Meeting. The Minister also held bilateral meetings with US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, US Trade Representative Katherine Tai and ministers of other IPEF partner countries on the sidelines of the IPEF Ministerial Meeting. These meetings will focus on removing trade barriers, promoting investment and promoting greater cooperation in areas such as technology and innovation. He also interacted with various stakeholders such as students, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and the Indian diaspora.
