Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Virbhadra Singh passed away in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. He was born on 23rd June 1934 at Sarahan, Punjab, British India (Now in Himachal Pradesh). He is the sitting Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Arki assembly constituency (Solan District, Himachal Pradesh). He was popularly known by the honorific ‘Raja Sahib’. Virbhadra Singh, a veteran Congress leader, has served as the CM of Himachal Pradesh (6 times) between 1983 to 2017. He was also a 9-time MLA and 5-time Member of Parliament(MP).
