Nucor's Leon Topalian of World Steel has been made the chairman and TV Narendran of Tata Steel has been made the vice chairman.

Global organization WorldSteel has elected Leon Topalian as its President and India's TV Narendran as its Vice President. Topalian is the chairman and CEO of Nucor Corporation and Narendran is the MD and CEO of domestic steel giant Tata Steel. The association also appointed Narendran to the executive committee along with JSW Steel CMD Sajjan Jindal and ArcelorMittal executive chairman LN Mittal. “The board of members has elected an executive board of directors for the period 2023/2024,” the association said. Individuals from the Board of Executive Directors will hold office for one year." Other members elected to the 17-member executive committee are Salah Al-Ansari – Chairman, Hadid, Saudi Iron & Steel Company (a SABIC affiliate), David Burritt – United States Steel The Corporation's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer is Jeong-Woo Choi – CEO, POSCO Holdings and Ugur Dalbeler – CEO, Colakoglu Metallurgy A.S.
