Indian Institute of Skills Kanpur signs MoU with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Dassault Aircraft Services India to empower the youth of India.

MOUs and Agreement

The Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) in Kanpur has unveiled three major partnerships with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Dassault Aircraft Services India (DASI). The objective of setting up IIS is to establish world class skills training centers by drawing inspiration and best practices from internationally acclaimed institutions. In another strategic partnership with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), HAL will set up a state-of-the-art CNC lab at the new IIS Kanpur facility as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. These partnerships are envisioned to establish stronger relationships between industries and employers, thus promoting state-of-the-art training facilities at IIS and providing on-the-job training opportunities with leading companies. Additionally, these initiatives contribute to adapting the local ecosystem to cutting-edge technology, thereby benefiting the society at large. The Government of India has already established IIS in three locations across the country, namely Mumbai, Kanpur and Ahmedabad.
