The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted flight tests of the Very Short-Range Air Defence System (V-SHORADS) missile from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, Odisha. V-SHORADS is a Man Portable Air Defence System (MANPADS) designed to neutralize low-altitude aerial threats.
