Following the landfall of Cyclone Fengal, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has requested an interim relief package of Rs 2,000 crore from the Central Government. The cyclone caused extensive damage to crops, infrastructure, and power lines in the coastal districts of Chengalpattu, Villupuram, and Cuddalore.
