India successfully conducted the night launch of the new generation nuclear-capable ballistic missile "Agni-Prime" from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha. The test met all the mission objectives, validating the accuracy and reliability of the system under operational conditions.

  • Agni-Prime is a two-stage canisterised solid-propellant ballistic missile with dual redundant navigation and guidance system, having a range of 1,000 to 2,000 km.
