The Indian Army formally inducted the fully indigenous Dhruv Integrated Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) system. Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Dhruv is designed to provide real-time battlefield situational awareness by integrating sensor data from various platforms (drones, satellites, ground troops). This induction marks a major boost to the "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" initiative in the defence sector and significantly enhances the Indian Army's network-centric warfare capabilities, allowing quicker decision-making and precise tactical deployment, especially along the Northern and Western borders.
