S. Sankarasubramanian has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI), the apex industry body for fertilizer manufacturers in India. His appointment, effective immediately, comes at a crucial time as the industry faces challenges related to subsidies, import dependence, and sustainability targets. Sankarasubramanian brings over 30 years of experience in the agricultural and chemical sectors, and his leadership is expected to drive FAI's agenda on promoting balanced fertilization and self-sufficiency in urea production.
