Russia ceremonially launched its newest nuclear-powered submarine, the 'Khabarovsk', from the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk. The submarine is specifically designed to carry and deploy the underwater nuclear drone 'Poseidon', often referred to as a 'doomsday missile' due to its intercontinental range and immense destructive potential. Defence Minister Andrei Belousov called the launch a significant moment for Russia's navy, underscoring the country's continuous efforts to enhance its strategic naval capabilities.
