On 14th October 2025, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Arjun Ram Meghwal, Ministry of Law and Justice (MoL&J), inaugurated the Live Cases Dashboard of the Legal Information Management and Briefing System (LIMBS) at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi, aiming to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in managing government litigation.

  • - The LIMBS Live Cases Dashboard is designed to provide a comprehensive and real-time overview of ongoing court cases involving the government, enabling better decision-making and ensuring inter-ministerial coordination.

💡 Other Important Facts:

  • (i) The dashboard offers live data visualization of court cases, presents upcoming hearings, and allows ministries to proactively monitor and manage litigation progress, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and accountability.
  • (ii) As of the launch, LIMBS tracks 723,123 live cases across 53 ministries and departments, updated regularly by 13,175 ministry users and 18,458 advocates, making it a robust tool for governance and legal administration.
