As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd has signed a MoU with the Union Health Ministry's Central Tuberculosis Division (CTD) and the states of Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to undertake an intensified tuberculosis (TB) elimination project. The diagnostic assistance provided as part of the MoU will strengthen efforts to identify TB patients, allowing for timely treatment. The aims to provide people in Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with sustainable and equitable access to high-quality TB treatment, care, and support services. As part of the initiative, the corporation also plans to introduce 18 mobile medical vans outfitted with cutting-edge diagnostic technology in Uttar Pradesh.
