Kotak Mahindra Bank’s digital platform, Kotak811, has emerged as one of the fastest-growing banking apps globally, ranking 3rd in worldwide downloads during H1 2025, reflecting India’s growing footprint in mobile-first banking.

      - Kotak811 ranked 3rd globally in banking app downloads during the first half (H1) of 2025, surpassing SBI’s Yono app, according to insights from Sensor Tower.

      - The app recorded over 16 million downloads with a 250% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth, making it the fastest-growing banking app worldwide despite earlier RBI restrictions.

Main Point :-   (i) Kotak811 is designed as a full-service digital banking platform, offering services such as zero-balance accounts, payments, investments, and credit products, catering to a wide range of financial needs in a mobile-first environment.

      (ii) The app currently serves 2.6 crore KYC-compliant users, highlighting its strong adoption in India’s regulated financial ecosystem and the trust it has garnered among retail customers.
