  • (ii) Chief Minister Majhi also unveiled a revised employment subsidy under the Odisha Apparel & Technical Textiles Policy 2022 (OATTP‑2022): subsidies were enhanced from ₹5,000 to ₹6,000 per month for male workers and from ₹6,000 to ₹7,000 per month for female workers. A dedicated Task Force under the Industries Department was constituted to fast‑track project execution.
  • (iii) Additional Chief Secretary Hemant Sharma emphasized Odisha’s inclusive industrial strategy, leveraging the state’s skilled workforce—especially returning migrant artisans from hubs like Tirupur and Surat—and integrating traditional crafts with modern technology. Sharma highlighted ongoing reforms like “Go Swift 2.0” for digital approvals and local MSME parks to support entrepreneurship. The summit aligns with the broader Purvodaya Bharat vision, positioning Odisha to generate over 1 lakh textile jobs by 2030–31.
