  • - Exercise Talisman Sabre began in 2005 as a biennial military drill between the United States of America (USA) and Australia, with the objective of enhancing interoperability, strategic response readiness, and command-control integration. India's inclusion in 2025 signifies its growing military footprint in the Indo-Pacific region.
  • - The 2025 edition involves over 35,000 personnel from 19 nations, including India, Australia, USA, UK, Japan, Indonesia, France, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, South Korea, Philippines, Fiji, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia (observer), Vietnam (observer), and others. These countries will jointly conduct land, air, sea, and amphibious defense drills.
