In July 2025, Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, who heads the Ministry of Steel (MoS) and Ministry of Heavy Industries (MoHI), inaugurated the new office of MSTC Limited at Narojinagar, World Trade Center (WTC), New Delhi. The event also witnessed the launch of the ‘Upkaran’ e-portal, a major digital initiative aimed at transforming equipment trade and inventory management for public and private sector entities.

  • (i) One of the major highlights of the event was the launch of the ‘Upkaran’ E-Portal—a next-generation digital marketplace developed by MSTC.   • (ii) The Upkaran platform is an end-to-end digital solution for equipment lifecycle management.
