Vice President Unveils Haryana Governor's Book "Janta Ki Kahani – Meri Aatmakatha".

In May 2025, the Vice President (VP) of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, released the book "Janta Ki Kahani – Meri Aatmakatha", an autobiography authored by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya, during an event held at Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi, Delhi.


      - The book captures Bandaru Dattatraya’s political and social journey, highlighting his deep-rooted connection with the public and his dedication to the upliftment of the underprivileged.

      - It also offers insights into several key historical and political events that the author witnessed over the decades.

     

Main Point :-   (i) Bandaru Dattatraya was born on 12 June 1947 in Hyderabad. He has been serving as the Governor of Haryana since July 2021.

      (ii) A senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he served as the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Labour from 1999 to 2004 under the leadership of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He is also a four-time Lok Sabha Member representing Secunderabad (Telangana).

(iii) His career spans several decades of political and social service, characterized by humility, a grassroots approach, and a strong commitment to public welfare and upliftment of the underprivileged.
