In April 2025, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Recently Inaugurated VVDN Technologies’ Largest State-of-the-Art Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Line and Mechanical Innovation Park at its Global Innovation Park in Manesar, Haryana.

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • - During the event, he also unveiled India’s first fully designed Artificial Intelligence (AI) server 'Adipoli', developed by VVDN Technologies. The server is equipped with 8 Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and marks a significant milestone in India’s tech innovation.
  • - India’s electronics manufacturing sector has grown 5 times in the last 6 years, with its total value now exceeding Rs 11 lakh crore.
  • - Electronics exports have surged 6 times to over Rs 3.25 lakh crore in the same period, and the sector now employs over 25 lakh people, with expectations of exponential growth in the coming years.

💡 Other Important Facts:

  • (i) The newly inaugurated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Line at VVDN Technologies supports Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) of up to 850 mm × 560 mm in size and boasts an industry-leading speed of 2,50,000 components per hour (CPH). This high-speed capability significantly enhances the efficiency and scale of electronic product manufacturing.
  • (ii) This state-of-the-art infrastructure will enable VVDN to produce large and complex products such as AI servers, networking equipment, and motherboards. The move is set to play a crucial role in reducing India’s dependence on imports while strengthening the nation’s supply chain resilience in the electronics sector.
  • (iii) In addition, the newly opened Mechanical Innovation Park, spanning 1,50,000 sq.ft, is equipped with mold and tool-making setups, wire-cut machines, and advanced injection molding systems. The facility establishes a fully integrated design-to-manufacturing ecosystem, and is expected to generate over 3,000 new skilled jobs, further aligning with the Government of India’s vision for employment generation and fostering high-tech skills.
