In April 2025, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Chandrakant Raghunath (C.R.) Patil, chaired a review meeting of key projects implemented by the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, Uttarakhand. These projects are supported by the Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS) under the aegis of the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG). The meeting was held in New Delhi, Delhi.
