On April 9, 2025, the Prime Minister (PM) of India, Narendra Modi, inaugurated and participated in the Navkar Mahamantra Divas at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi (Delhi). The event served as a global spiritual congregation aimed at fostering peace, non-violence, and inner harmony through the collective chanting of the Navkar Mahamantra, the most sacred chant in Jainism (an ancient Indian religion).

  • - The celebration coincided with Mahavir Jayanti, honoring the birth of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, and witnessed participation of over 25,000 people from 108 countries chanting in unison to spread a message of peace and unity.
