Hurun Global Rich List 2025 Revealed Elon Musk Tops the List While Mukesh Ambani Becomes India's Richest Person.

In March 2025, China-based Hurun Research Institute released the "2025 Hurun Global Rich List". Mukesh Ambani, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), emerged as India's Richest Person with a total net worth of USD 100 billion and ranked as the World's 17th richest person (10th in 2024).

  • - Mukesh Ambani is followed by Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, with a total net worth of USD 97 billion, and Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCL Technologies Limited, with a total net worth of USD 40 billion. She also became the 5th richest woman in the world and is the first Indian woman to enter the global top 10 wealthiest women.
  • - Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesla and SpaceX, reclaimed the title of the world's richest person for the fourth time with a total net worth of USD 420 billion, followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (USD 266 billion), Meta (formerly Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg (USD 242 billion), and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison (USD 203 billion).
  • - The 14th edition of the Hurun Global Rich List, based on wealth calculations as of January 15, 2025, features 3,442 billionaires from 71 countries, marking an increase from 3,278 last year. The number of billionaires grew by 5%, while their total combined wealth rose by 13%.
