On March 18, 2025, Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General (DG) of the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), inaugurated the S N Bose Building at the Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP), a Research and Development (R&D) unit in Haryana under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).

  • - During the event, held at Sushma Swaraj Bhavan in New Delhi, he also launched a Certificate Course in Nuclear Engineering.
  • - The event was attended by Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Secretary of DAE and Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, along with diplomats from GCNEP partner countries and senior officials from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and DAE.
