IOC Grants Provisional Recognition to World Boxing Federation.

In February 2025, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) granted provisional recognition to World Boxing (WB) as the International Federation (IF) governing global boxing within the Olympic Movement. This decision marks a significant step toward boxing's inclusion in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
