India and Armenia Sign MoU for Collaboration in Medical Product Regulation.

On March 10, 2025, India and Armenia signed two key Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance collaboration in medical product regulation and diplomatic training. These agreements were finalized during Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan’s visit to India from March 9 to 11, 2025.

🎯 Key Highlights:

- Ararat Mirzoyan met with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar in New Delhi to review bilateral ties. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in trade, economy, connectivity, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
- The MoU between India's Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) and Armenia’s Center of Drug and Medical Technology Expertise (CDMTE) aims to enhance regulatory collaboration, ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of medical products in both countries.
- The Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS), under India’s Ministry of External Affairs, signed an MoU with Armenia’s Diplomatic School to facilitate joint training programs, knowledge exchange, and skill enhancement for diplomats.

(i) Armenia is an active participant in global initiatives such as the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the Voice of the Global South Summit, showcasing its commitment to international cooperation.
