- March 4th, 2025, will mark the 6th observance of World Engineering Day.

💡 Other Important Facts:

(i) In November 2019, UNESCO declared March 4th as World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, following a proposal by the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), during UNESCO's 40th General Conference (40 C/64).
(ii) The first World Engineering Day (WED) was observed on March 4th, 2020.
(iii) In 2025, UNESCO, together with WFEO, will celebrate World Engineering Day (WED) with the theme "Shaping a Sustainable Future Through Engineering" at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. This is part of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD).
