HAL & BEML Sign MoU for Collaboration in Training Programs.

On February 25, 2025, Bengaluru (Karnataka) based Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Bengaluru based BEML Limited (formerly Bharat Earth Movers Limited) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on leadership and technical training programs focused on skill development and professional excellence.

  • - The collaboration aims to strengthen the technical expertise and managerial leadership within BEML, thereby contributing to the growth and self-reliance of India's defense manufacturing sector.
  • - The MoU was signed by Srikantha Sharma, Executive Director (ED) of HAL Management Academy (HMA), and Monideepa Roy, Head of Talent Management at BEML.

  • (i) HAL's training institute, HMA, will offer induction training, middle and senior management programs, specialized workshops, and certification programs in areas like Six Sigma, Quality, Reliability, Data Analytics (DA), and Industry 4.0.
