On February 11, 2025, Berlin (Germany)-based International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Transparency International (TI) released the '2024 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI 2024),' assessing the perceived levels of public sector corruption across 180 countries.

  • - According to the 2024 CPI Report, India ranks 96th out of 180 countries with a score of 38, reflecting a decline from its 2023 ranking of 93rd with a score of 39. India shares its score and rank with Gambia and Maldives.
  • - Denmark secured the top position in the 2024 CPI for the 7th consecutive year with a score of 90, followed by Finland (88) and Singapore (84).
