The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has issued its first biodiversity and nature-focused bond worth USD 100 million to fund essential conservation projects across Asia and the Pacific.

  • - The bond was unveiled at the 16th Conference of the Parties for the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 16) in Cali, Republic of Colombia.
  • - The 10-year bond was issued under ADB's Theme Bonds for Sustainable Development program in collaboration with its Environment group.
