According to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) report titled "Emissions Cap Report 2024: No More Hot Air...... Please!", the world made no progress in limiting the temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels in 2023 compared to the previous year.

🎯 Key Highlights:

- The report highlights that the gap in implementing policies to meet the targets set in 2030 Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) remains unchanged from the previous year’s assessment by UNEP.
- The report indicates that the world is on track to experience 3.1°C (5.6°F) of warming since pre-industrial times, more than double the goal set in the 2015 Paris Agreement to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C (2.7°F) above pre-industrial levels.
