Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the new multi-coloured logo for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad). During the event, he also launched the website and app for Kumbh Mela 2025.

  • - Kumbh Mela 2025 is a major festival celebrated by the people of Hindu religion, and it is scheduled to be held in Prayagraj from "13 January to 26 February 2025". The word "Maha Kumbh" is derived from Persian and Sanskrit.

  • (i) The logo design includes the image of a temple, a sage, an urn, Akshayavat tree, and Lord Hanuman. These elements reflect the relationship between nature and humanity in Sanatan civilization.
  • (ii) The logo prominently features the city's most sacred site, Triveni Sangam, which is the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
