On October 1, 2024, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accorded a warm send-off to the "Vayu Veer Vijaeta" car rally from the National War Memorial in New Delhi. This rally is organized to commemorate the 92nd anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF), which will be celebrated on October 8, 2024.

- The rally will officially begin from Thoise in Ladakh, one of the highest altitude air force stations in the world, situated at 3,068 meters above mean sea level, on October 8, 2024. It will conclude in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, on October 29, 2024.

(i) The IAF also organized an airshow themed "Saksham, Sashakta, Amtanirbhar" (Potent, Powerful, Self-reliant) at Marina Beach in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on October 6, 2024. This event was one of the largest airshows ever conducted by the IAF.
