On October 2, 2024, marking Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) from Hazaribag, Jharkhand, with a significant investment of over ₹79,156 crores.

  • - During the event, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for various projects aimed at empowering tribal communities in Hazaribag.
  • - Additionally, he initiated multiple projects under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN), amounting to over ₹1,360 crores.
