Pharmacy Council of India launches new 'DIGI-PHARMed' portal for pharmacists

Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) will launch a modified – “DIGI-PHARMed” application with four integrated services, aimed at regulating pharmacy education in the country by enrollment/registration of pharmacy institutions/pharmacists/pharmacy students/ Dr. Montu Kumar M Patel, Chairman, PCI inaugurated the revised “DIGI-PharmD” portal as the earlier version of the application was limited in scope where Pharmacy Institutes/Faculties/Pharmacy students could take full advantage of PCI digital services. Pharmacy education in the country. Under Chintan Shivar's initiative, QCI was tasked with developing a framework for evaluating and rating all medical institutions in the country. Under this initiative, QCI in consultation with PCI and MoHFW has developed 11 criteria and related parameters for evaluation and rating of pharmacy educational institutions.
