Jammu and Kashmir Police has introduced GPS tracker anklet to keep an eye on terrorist accused released on bail in the Union Territory. With this, Jammu and Kashmir Police Department has become the first department in India to use GPS tracker anklet. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that in 2017, an accused named Ghulam Mohammad Bhat had applied for bail under FIR number 252/2007 sections 17, 18, 21, 24, 40 UAPA 1967 PS Udhampur.
