Novak Djokovic beats Jannik Sinner to win his seventh ATP Finals title

Brutal Novak Djokovic defeated favorite Jannik Sinner to win the ATP Finals title for a record seventh time - adding another milestone to his incredible career. Djokovic had once won 14 consecutive points against the world number four, before Sinner The 24-time Grand Slam champion's lead was briefly slowed. Sinner survived a double break of serve down as Djokovic surprisingly failed to make a passing shot and Sinner had just a chance to break back in the sixth game. He had points to take but he could not convert any of them. Djokovic also failed to convert a break point which would have given him a 5-2 lead as a few errors appeared in his game. The crowd cheered their man. Tried his best but Djokovic went on to win and a Sinner double fault ended the contest. Djokovic overtook Roger Federer to become the most successful player in the history of the tournament. His victory caps a year in which he won three of the four Grand Slam titles and reclaimed the world number one spot from Carlos Alcaraz. This means that he will look as effective as ever in 2024.
