The National Cadet Corps (NCC), the world's largest uniformed youth organization established in 1948, celebrated its 75th anniversary, marking an important chapter in its legacy of training the youth with the fundamentals of discipline, leadership etc. At the programme, a band of 26 talented girls from the NCC wing of Kamala Nehru College, New Delhi performed on patriotic themes, adding vibrancy and patriotism to the programme. By being actively involved in diverse initiatives such as social development, disaster relief, environment conservation and community service, NCC has left a deep imprint on the social fabric. On this historic day of 75th anniversary, NCC stands firm on its dedication to shape future contributors to society and nation building. To mark the occasion, events across the country include blood donation drives, parades, wreath laying ceremonies, cultural programs and awareness campaigns showcasing the achievements and ethos espoused by the NCC. ​
