22 feet tall statue of Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar unveiled at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium

A grand statue of Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar was unveiled at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Maharashtra. When Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde unveiled the statue in the presence of the Master Blaster and his family, slogans of 'Sachin-Sachin' were heard throughout the stadium. On this occasion, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah, Vice President Rajiv Shukla, Treasurer Ashish Shelar including Mumbai Cricket association officials were also present. The 22-foot statue, which depicts the top batsman hitting a soaring shot, has been designed by renowned painter and sculptor Pramod Kamble from Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district. The statue is placed next to the Sachin Tendulkar stand.
