The Tripura government has launched a new scheme, “Earn with Learn”, as part of the Vidyalaya Chalo Abhiyan (Let’s go to school) to bring back those who had dropped out of schools following the outbreak of Covid-19.

The Tripura government has launched a new scheme, “Earn with Learn”, as part of the Vidyalaya Chalo Abhiyan (Let’s go to school) to bring back those who had dropped out of schools following the outbreak of Covid-19. Extensive door-to-door surveys will be conducted to make the campaign successful. college students willing to participate in the survey as volunteers will be requested to register their names in their respective colleges. Rs500 would be paid to volunteers (college students) for identification of school dropouts and inclusion of school dropouts. The project requires an estimated 10,000 volunteers. Anganwari staff and Asha workers can also be used to assist the third year students in this work.
