Sports Minister Anurag Thakur launches logo, jersey, and mascot of 6th Khelo India Youth Games in Chennai

Describing Khelo India as the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Minister told that it has become a movement now. The Minister told that this edition of the Khelo India Youth Games will introduce squash. Mr.Thakur told that to make India great in 2047, there should be collaboration in Sports with all the states. The Minister asserted that India has heaped medals in international sports events and for the first time it has also won the Thomas Cup. We are building a great future for the talented sports persons, he added. While mentioning Sheetal Devi, the para champion in archery, he asked the sports people to push the limits and be an inspiration for future generations. He told that region and religion do not matter, only performance matters. The minister said India will be bidding for 2036 Olympics and India will be among the ten top sporting nations.

      Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur and Tamil Nadu Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin today unveiled the official jersey of 6th Khelo India Youth Games in Chennai. Mr Thakur also unveiled the mascot for the Games. The mascot is

      Launching the Mascot and Jersey for Khelo India, he said that it is a sense of immense pride and privilege that the Country has unbelievably brilliant sports talents and has been witnessing continuous growth of sports in the country.
