Indian Grandmaster SL Narayanan has overpowered a strong field of World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen to win the bronze medal at the prestigious Qatar Masters Open 2023. The 25-year-old from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala remained undefeated in the nine-round competition and reached the finals. The Uzeb pair finished 6.5 points behind Nodyrbek Yakubov and Nodyrbek Abdussaturov, who scored 7 points.
