Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has empaneled 12 entities to provide digital forensic services

Capital markets regulator SEBI has empaneled 12 entities, including Ernst & Young LLP and KPMG Assurance & Consulting Services LLP, to provide assistance to its investigation team for onsite data acquisition during search and seizure operations. Other organizations included in the panel are - Baker Tilly Business Advisory Services, Cybermet Forensic & Data Security Solutions, Cyant Technologies, ECS Info Tech, Innefu Labs, Mahan Technologies, Nangia & Company LLP, Netrica Consulting India, Pelorus Technologies and Cytools Software. After the process is completed they have been empaneled to provide digital forensic services to the regulator. Empanelment will be valid for a period of two years.
